Welcome! Kimberly and I hope we can be a part of making your buying or selling experience simple, efficient, and pleasurable. We offer quick and reliable service to meet your needs. It does not matter if you need a buyer/pre-purchase inspection or a seller/pre-listing inspection, Bartee Inspections is prepared to help. We perform our home inspections per the Standards of Practice set forth by the Texas Real Estate Commission. All reports are normally delivered electronically within 24 hours of the inspection.

As your home inspector it is my duty, and my privilege, to provide you with the best service possible and to arm you with the information you need about the condition of the property. With 39 years in construction and metal fabrication, I have the experience and knowledge necessary to provide a detailed inspection and to distinguish between major and minor problems with the home.

I encourage you to be present at the end of the inspection. You'll be able to ask about the condition of the home and ask any questions you have regarding my findings, and I'll be able to explain everything to you in person.

Standards and Qualifications

We've been trained by some of the best inspectors in the country, and carry the AHIT certification. AHIT is the largest home inspection training institute in North America, and is approved by ASHI, NACHI, and other professional organizations. We're ready to put that experience and knowledge to work for you.

We're also a member of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI), and adhere to their Standards of Practice and strict Code of Ethics.

Jeff Bartee does a wonderfully detailed job with his inspections! He finds the big problems, the potential problems, and the smallest detailed problems. This is wonderful for my buyers AND sellers. The buyers feel like they can have confidence that they know which repairs they need to request from the sellers and that they can close on their home knowing exactly what they are getting. When sellers have the inspection done before listing, they can know exactly what to fix before a buyer has a chance to come in and start making requests. Jeff responded very quickly to my clients' need for a quick inspection. Jeff was very thorough. His report to me was very clear with pictures and explanations. His program allows an agent to create a repair request very quickly. You can select the issues that you want resolved or a monetary credit to buyer and create the report at the click of a button with the pictures and explanations from the inspector. I have never seen this ability for agents through the inspector's report.

Jeff was very friendly and observant about the home I had him inspect. It wasn't just "Here are the issues, have a nice day". Jeff went through each issue he noticed, whether as small as a screw placed wrong to as big as ventilation improperly installed. He was very open to questions and went to show me the issue rather than just explain it. He pointed out things that might've been small to others but still made sure I knew about the issue(s). I trusted his opinion and made my first home inspection very easy and understandable. Definitely will recommend Jeff to my friends, and for any other future inspections, I may need! A+++

Jeff was an absolute blessing to us as first time homebuyers that are also brand new to the area. I had reached out to schedule an inspection after business hours, fully expecting to hear back from him the next morning. Much to my surprise and delight, Jeff reached out about an hour later and walked me through the scheduling process. On the day of the inspection, Jeff and Bill (the Wood Destroying Insect Inspector) arrived promptly and early to our inspection appointment, which gave us time to become acquainted with them. They took the time to walk us through everything that they were inspecting, and were incredibly transparent in what they were observing, and what exactly that meant. The report came back promptly the following morning, which gave us ample time to go over and talk to our relator before our option period was over. The inspection was thorough and included many detailed photos that have been helpful for me in getting various quotes from contractors, etc. Outside of that, the inspection comes with an amazing package, including appliance recall checks, concierge service, and more! I cannot recommend enough!
